Honolulu, Oahu, HawaiiʻIolani Palace, completed in November 1882. The official residence of King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani, it is the only royal palace to have been used by a reigning monarch in the United States.

ʻIolani Palace was used as “state police headquarters” in the TV series Hawaii Five-O, with actor Jack Lord often shown bounding up its stairs.
